   I will continue to try to ignore how pretty those screenshots look. History has shown that I'm pretty poor at Qix gameplay, so I really shouldn't get this. . . . I've even avoided Fortix despite its price drop.

   That "mini Cubixx" should be called "Squarixx," naturally. Either that or "Third Root."

   Given that abstract, otherworldly backgrounds have replaced the warp starfield from the original Cubixx, I think the "HD" in the sequel's title should stand for "Hyper Dimension."
