Crescent Pale Mist is a doujin (i.e., Japanese indie) side-scrolling action game which has some bullet hell action in it. It was announced to have been licensed for American release a few months ago by Rockin' Android, the same guys who brought Gundemonium Collection, a package of three doujin bullet hell shooters, to PC and PS3 (on PSN) earlier this year. The PSN release of that, which also has the three games available separately, was co-published by Sony Online Entertainment. Now, the ESRB has revealed that Crescent Pale Mist has been rated for PS3 and PSP, with SOE listed as the publisher. It's certainly possible that this could refer to separate versions of the game, like with flOw and Everyday Shooter, but maybe the game will be released under the Minis banner.
If anyone's curious, the game is rated E10+ and has this description in its ESRB entry:
This is a side-scrolling adventure game in which players help a young witch named Yonou traverse another dimension to uncover the source of a magical mist. Players run and jump between the background and foreground of each level while using sword and laser attacks to slash at fantastical monsters (e.g., dragons, zombies, bat-like creatures, "living armor" suits). Some battles are fast-paced and frenetic; defeated enemies generally disappear in explosive bursts of colorful light.
