So I asked the higher authority (Chris) to look into our forum problems where "/" appears in posts whether you like it or not. This phenomenon is more notorious when you edit your posts. Good news, this bug has been crushed. Happy posting everyone!

Er, I guess no one noticed that I posted earlier about the backslashes going away. It's okay. I'm not depressed. *sniff* I, I just have a cold.
To be precise, it was a backslash (\) issue, not a forward slash (/) issue.

Don't be like that onmode. I remember, & I know exactly where u put it too. lol Guess the \s just got /ed. Take that u stinkin aliens!

Those aliens, I hear they're scumbags. They've been /ed by twin blades and 1000 tiny claws, so badly that now you can't tell them from a rotating octopus character or a tiny hawk. We sent them running at maximum velocity, so now they're back home playing arcade air hockey and bowling.
. . . That last sentence might have been overkill.
Apache overkill?
