Has anoyone tried this yet. I was in two minds as to if I should get it yesterday when it was released. I already have Virtual Pool in my iPad which is brilliant. I was going to get it this morning, but see that it has a rating of 1 star from 2 people on the PSN Store, so I have kind of been put off.

Yikes! Not sure why we got the 1 star reviews on PSN!
We'll be sending over some free codes to PSPMinis, and hopefully they will run a competition.

richicon, do you have any videos of the game in action. I like the screenshots (love the whole 3D pool room environment with characters in it), but I just wanted to see the game in action.
Its a shame it got a few poor ratings on the PSN store. I have found that not many people do actualy rate games on the PSN, so its probably not a fair way to rate a game. For example, even a massive popular game like SOCOM 3 has about 90 ratings on the store. You can't tell me that a game like that has not sold more copies than that.

We're working on a trailer video right now - should be ready by Monday (18th July).

I really like Icon Games, I shall be getting this one whenever it appears on sale! May be a while but I'll look forward to it anyway!

This Mini isn't available in the US yet, but if your PSN account is North American and you're interested in it (for PSP), Pool Hall Pro, which, as I understand it, is like Arcade Pool & Snooker but with more content, is now $4 in the PS Store. Pretty much a Mini in price.

Ok, so I was confused about that, so Pool Hall Pro actually has more content?
I got it today, as always, I find the Icon games to be quality. Bashi Blocks is the main brick breaker game I play, and that says a lot given that it's one of my favorite types of games.

Did you mean you got PHP or AP&S today? I'm not sure, since you started a new paragraph.
PHP, I think, has the same game content as AP&S but has more venues and unlockable items (hopefully, Rich will correct me if I'm wrong), and it can do Ad Hoc wireless multiplayer.

I got Pro Hall Pool, it seems to be the only one available in the store for me, I live in North America, and it is discounted to $4 this week.
I've been playing it, not enough to say a lot about it, but so far it is a satisfying game.

Hehe, I like your reversal. It actually works! Not so with certain other titles. "Princess My Stole (Probably) Monsters." "Bucks 2 for Shooter Space A!" "Lord My, This Deserve to Do I Did What?"
I DID WHAT?

I discovered what appears to be an advantage of Arcade Pool & Snooker over Pool Hall Pro: the latter seems to only support multi-PSP multiplayer, while the former can host a 2-player game on a single PSP. I'd wanted to play snooker against my father, but I couldn't find a single-PSP mode in Pool Hall Pro.

Yep - confirmed; Pool Hall Pro only features AdHoc multiplayer.

Yep; that covers it pretty well - they are similar, but PHP has more content.
