Any cheap rpgs?

I only have $4.89 left on my wallet and really want to play a turn based RPG, is there any on the store for that cheap or am I just going to have to hold onto it for even longer? If there isn't could I get a survival horror game for that cheap? I desperately want to play a new game from either genre (though I'd prefer RPG).

Check the "View by genre" section of the PSPgame section and pick RPG. There's nothing I can think of in either catagory that you're looking for though. You'll need at least $5.99 for a PS1 game or above.

You won't be getting any RPG's with just $4.89 bud. The only mini RPG is Zenonia and that's $6.99 I think. Psone Classics as Nexus said, will start at $5.99.

You can get Hysteria Project with what you currently have though.

You're about a dollar and 10 cents short, I'm afraid. Though most are $9.99, I think the only PSP (not PS1) RPG that is $5.99 is Warriors of the Lost Empire, and that's an action RPG.

They also put a lot of RPGs under the "Strategy" genre. Go figure.

And Cladun is $20. It's been on sale once or twice though.

Cladun looks pretty awesome, but not good enough for $20. I don't think there is a chance of it coming to EU either.

Cladun is on the EU PSN, and has been for months now.
The only cheap RPGs I know of are PS1 games also.
Out of the PS1 RPGs I'd recomend Grandia and Front Mission 3. ;)

He probably could, the lucky sod... but he's looking a turn based RPG and Blood Omen (which is my favourate game of all time) is an action RPG. ;)

I wouldn't call the Legacy of Kain series RPGs. Definitely action games, along the same lines as Zelda. (I've played both Soul Reavers and the final title, Defiance)
They don't have any character customization. You do gain new abilities but it's all storyline events. You can't upgrade anything either.

Warriors of the Lost Empire was a pretty sweet (although extremely confusing - see weapon upgrades) action rpg, but if you're already having to buy another PSN voucher, you'd be better off looking at some of the PS1 classics.

I replayed ffvii on psp and I think it was actually more fun, if for no other reason than the sleep function during some of the games longer stretches. Oh, the sprites looked sweet stretched out in widescreen.

What? You play your PS1 games with the images stretched to fill the screen? I avoid that kind of distortion like the plague. Bothers me to no end.

I got Blade Dancer for $5 when it was on sale during the PSPgo launch, but it went back to $10 when the sale period ended. Besides, I would not recommend that game. As for your $4.89, there are no RPGs available for that cheap. Oh, and Grandia was $10 last I checked.

It's in the 'PSP Games' section under the 'RPG' tab priced at £15.99, I just checked. ;)

I used to want Cladun, but couldnt see paying 20 for it. I'm feeling 10 bucks though if it ever gets there. You know what else I liked the demo to? Half Minute Hero. I think its only 15 or so.

I hated the Half Minute Hero demos. Even though the concept sounds really cool. The one on the 360 looks graphically fantastic.

Alright thanks for the answers everyone, I didn't really expect to be able to buy anything I just hate having money left. I meant to buy a card a couple days ago but demons soul was on sale for $10 so I immediately bought that. I love Demons soul I just really want to play a turn based RPG again.
