Hey guys,

We are a relatively new development house called Open Emotion Studios. To this point we have made flash games, our most popular being Goldies Revenge, which has had over 3,000,000 plays world wide. We are developing 2 PSP Minis, which we aim to have released on the PS Store in the next 6 months. We are hoping to trickle info about the projects out in the coming weeks and months both here on PSPMinis.com and also on our devblog which is currently getting an overhaul.

The two Games we are developing are very different. One is action oriented while the other is a puzzler. I cant give away much as of right now but all I can say is that we aim to deliver top quality Minis that we hope you guys will enjoy.

Expect announcements very soon...

Thanks man, Yeah. We will be doing a big overhaul on the website in the next week or 2 and we will be detailing some info
about the first Mini we are releasing. Cheers for your interest mate and hope we can keep you interested throughout the development process :)

A little bit of info posted over on The Gaming Liberty about our new game Mad Blocker Alpha.
Should be some new off screen vids coming later this week too. Expecting to have it out in EU territories in Early December.

Out of curiosity, what specifically do you enjoy about PSP development? Is there something in the libraries that's particularly fun to mess with? Or is it the system's capabilities you like? Or did you mean more along the lines of the process itself, like the support from Sony?

I ask this because you're not the first developer who has said that after getting started with PSP development, they've found it rewarding enough to say so (presumably meaning it has something unique that's missing in developing for other platforms).

Yo Onmode-ky, Yeah the programmers here love working on the PSP. They like the libraries, the power, the freedom but also the constraints and limits. Knowing that you have power but it exists within "these" paramaters. Sony have been amazing as well, they have done nothing but help us from the get-go. Can;t wait to get starte don PSN games next year too hopefully... So long as MBA does well, ha ha.

Cheers again Volcane, you are a king amongst men indeed! Now, avoiding a trial of death getting a PEGI rating or an act of god. The game should see a release just before Christmas :D
