what baffles me are games like Megaman 9 and 10, which is perfect for handhelds, is not on PSP PSN store, they gave us imports of 1-4 already so why not 9 and 10? is that too much to ask??? more revenue isn't bad, then again PSP is dwindling so that could've been it, still want it though. maybe we get it on Vita.

@O-man

i hear ya, Gameboy and Super mario land invigorated my gaming desires and that's why handhelds are always my favorites. can't wait to play PS2 games on the go and P4G, getting shivers just thinking about it. :D

I think I'm going to cry when I finally get it in my hands.

I feel about the same way about the PS Vita, just have to make sure I don't show my un-necessary emotions in the game store. :3

As for the PSP, I also felt that Sony invested a lot less time into getting games out compared to the DS (as its main competitor) and the PS2/PS3 (as its console counterpart). The DS seemed to exceptional up until the 3DS was released and still sees some titles released, the same can't be said for the PSP as we constantly see multi-platform titles not seeing a PSP release and the games we do get are spread thin with quite large gaps between each game.

Another gripe I have is when I read the PlayStation blog and see announcements of "PSN" game releases without any mention of a platform. I have now come to accept that if a platform isn't stated to assume it is for PS3 but it is sad that the PSP has been forgotten before its successor has even been released. The whole blog in fact seems to only really cater to PS3 owners with few mentions of the PSP anywhere, I certainly hope that will change with the PS Vita release.

In fact for me I would say the only thing that has really kept my interest in the PSP recently has been minis. I love their inexpensive price, the variety and especially the awesome developers who come to the forum and tell us about their work. :)

I think I'm going to cry when I finally get it in my hands.

I've always had a handheld in my hands since the original Game Boy. One is always near me and I'm always looking to squeeze in some play time. As I get older I gain more responsibilities, so even though I want to spend everyday in front of my TV wasting hours of my life, I can't. So I really need something that will give me the home console experience no matter where I am. The PSP did a great job at that, and Vita is looking to expand on that.

I may not have the time to plug up the PS2 and really get into Final Fantasy X, but I'll soon be able to reach in my pocket when I have some time to spare and grind anywhere, anytime. As long as the support is there from Sony and developers, this thing has all the potential in the world. But the thing that scares me the most, I pretty much said the same thing about the PSP. It was the most promising system of this generation, and Sony just dropped the ball and pretty much left it on the floor. But on that same note, I couldn't tell you how much enjoyment I've gotten out of my PSP.
