A little disappointed that the new levels recently added to Edge don\'t seem to be coming to the PSP version.

That was out of the blue somewhat! I've got this game and it's alright, never really got round to playing it though and I dunno if I ever will.

I finally went and got Edge earlier this week (it's been out in the NA PS Store since September). At this point, I've played about a third of the game (17 of 46 levels), and it lives up to its reputation. Very slick look, fun level designs. The music is good, though I can't say any of it sticks in my head. There are some differences from the phone versions, from the looks of YouTube footage of those; individual levels have occasional differences, and it seems we're missing 2 levels (the iPhone version has 48). So far in what I've played, what was Level 14 in the iPhone version is skipped in the Minis version. I surmise it might have been because it was too hard for casual players.

Of the Minis I've played, the one Edge most resembles is Mighty Flip Champs! DX. They have similar numbers of levels and are both path-finding puzzle games that push for speedruns. However, in terms of the puzzle part of the equation, MFCDX is the better game. It could actually stump you every now and then, while this first third of Edge has been fairly simple in its puzzles. Where Edge really gets challenging, though, is if you aim to rank at 'S' or 'S+' for speed. This game demands extremely fine precision in your navigation. It seems like being just milliseconds off in your timing can result in the cube under- or over-shooting a landing, which then results in a fall and redo, time wasted as you reposition the cube, or just cumulative little bits of time wasted as the cube rights itself every time before you can move it again. It gets a bit infuriating, hehe. I've managed to score either 'S' or 'S+' throughout these first 17 levels (while collecting about a fourth of the game's prism items), but I think this type of game is bad for my health. So, I think I'll stop, even though there's a "?????" thing in the Options menu that presumably stays locked until one beats the whole game.

If you can keep yourself from getting caught up trying to improve your speedruns, you may enjoy the game more than I. And thus, you may eventually be able to tell me what that "?????" thing is.

The iPhone title that found itself to be the first title wound up in Tim Langdell's trademark trolling is coming to the Minis platform. Quirky little puzzle game.

Note: That's a screenshot from the iPhone version.
