Monopoly Upcoming Mini?
Could Monopoly be coming to PSP minis? According to a recent story on Gamerbytes, it’s highly possible that EA will be porting their iPhone Monopoly game over to the PSP as a mini. The signs are good – EA’s Tetris has successfully made the leap to the PSP and is consistently in the Top Ten downloads chart, and EA’s Sudoku was also very well received.
Although EA hasn’t yet made any official statement about the possibility of a Monopoly mini, Gamerbytes points out that both the German USK and ESRB ratings bodies have listed a Monopoly PSP game on their websites. The key is in the multiplayer details: the ESRB says that the game is for up to four players, but does not state whether this is via some sort of ‘hot seat’ mode, which would indicate a mini, or via Wi-Fi, which would point to it being a regular PSP game.
I have also read that this will be a strictly GO-Only release. You must own a PSP GO to buy it. Not sure if it’s true but we’ll just have to wait.

Sony has said that there will not be any Go only releases. Maybe your source got confused?
If EA prices this right then it could be alot of fun. Would make a nice thing to game around the family car on long road trips.
I have read it from 2 diff places but the first one was translated to english so maybe it was supposed to say something like “for on the go” instead of “only for the go”?
Even if it were possible (I guess it is, there are some PSP-2000 and 3000 only apps from Sony like SkyPe), it would be insane to make a Go only game because no one really bought the Go. I think it’s got a world wide penetration of 100,000. Compared to about 50 million for the regular PSP.
