Life of Pixel Screens Released

LifeofPixel4

Icon Games seem to have been reborn as Super Icon (I guess RoboIcon was too obvious), and they’ve released a batch of screens from one of their upcoming PlayStation Mobile titles, Life of Pixel. It seems to be a platformer where a character travels through different levels on different old computers and consoles, each with their own visual style.

Pretty neat-looking, I must say. Shown above is a screen of a level from a CPC 64 (which I never had); check out their Flickr page for all the shots, including levels for the 2600 and C-64.

They also have another PS Mobile title in the works, called “Mega Blast.”

(thanks to onmode-ky for spotting this)

They announced it on their Twitter stream, so it wasn’t really a “spotting” on my part.

I hope they change Mega Blast’s name. It’s really too generic as is.

Yeah, but I would have missed it, otherwise.

I hope they change it because I’ve had the theme song to MegaForce stuck in my head since last night.

You should have seen the name we had before Mega Blast! LOL

    Naming games is tricky :)

These screen shots get me very excited for a platforming experience. I wonder what it plays like. Has a bit of “league of evil” vibe to it.

Me wants if thats the case!
