Top User-Rated European Minis—June 2012

It’s still June in the Azores, so I’m not late, really! But who wouldn’t be distracted by the news of the Tom Cruise-Katie Holmes breakup?

Idiot Squad crashes its way onto the chart, deservedly so. Vanguard fell off the chart last month, but Europe came to its senses and it’s now back on, though certainly at the wrong end of the chart. Nom Nation also has a solid showing.

FuturLab’s Velocity debuted rather low but has improved this month, closing in on their previous title, Coconut Dodge.

Card Shark, from Laughing Jackal’s sister company, falls off the chart. It also seems that some Minis have been removed from the Store, like Angry Birds and, more lamentably, SHIFT extended.

Wait a minute. SHIFT extended really still is in the EU PS Store?

  2. JeremyR says:

    Hmmm, maybe it’s not.

Usually I just look at the store, then change the values on the chart, not the other way around (since it’s not alphabetical, it’s tricky to do it that way)

  3. JeremyR says:

Yup, it’s gone. Thanks for catching that.

  4. O says:

Wait a minute. TomKat spit!? How… Expected.

  5. onmode-ky says:

SHIFT extended has most likely been gone from the EU PS Store a long time. It was no longer in the NA PS Store when it was supposed to be on sale right after the revival of PSN (June 2011). And while it was in the very first of our monthly looks at EU PSN user ratings in September 2011, it couldn’t have been too long after that when it got removed (the publisher’s comments about their bankruptcy happened in May 2011).

  6. identity25 says:

If it gets removed from the store and we own it, can we still download it from our list, or does it dissapear?

  7. JeremyR says:

If you own it, you should still be able to download it. At least that has been the case with a couple of PSP games that I own that were removed – Brave Story and PS:P2
