Athena drops off the chart. While she’s one of my favorite goddesses, I think the only amusing part of the game was the opening cinematic.
Canabalt jumps onto the chart, as do Bermuda Triangle, Defenders of the Mystic Garden and Farm Frenzy 2. Farm Frenzy 2 has the same exact rating as Farm Frenzy, which seems to be no surprise, since as near as I can tell, it’s almost exactly the same game. Also finally joining the list is Laughing Jackal’s second Fighting Fantasy game, The Warlock of Firetop Mountain. It always had the rating, but finally now has enough votes.
One of the more curious phenomena is that of Retro – Cave Flyer. For most of its life, it was off the chart due to a rating in the middle 3s. But then it stormed onto the chart just recently, and it went up further in score this month. And POW not only continues to rule the chart, its rating actually went up from last month. Go figure.
