Golf Mania Landing on PSN April 4th in Europe

GolfmaniaTitle2

Golf Mania, the upcoming miniature golf title from Icon Games has a release date of April 4th in Europe, with a date for North America still to be determined. From the press release, it seems it will be available both as part of PS+ (as a discounted title, not free?) and in the Store itself on that date.

It features 90 holes over 10 different courses, as well as multiplayer and numerous unlockables. As a big fan of miniature golf, I’ve been really looking forward to this.

Some screens after the break:

Looks like up to 4 players, presumably by passing it around.

Gotta have a windmill in a miniature golf game!

I don't even know where to begin on this one!

I don't remember a golf scene in Tron....

Icon really went all out in the variety for the courses.

    Vita compatible?

Oh yeah. Before I submit my comment, here’s a thing to understand: This is a MINI and not to be compared [in reality] to hotshots golf. Now that being said, This game looks decent from the screenshots and I am looking forward to playing it. The proof is in the pudding though, we’ll see how the gameplay mechanics hold out.

    Later. :)

Should be, yes – Sony haven’t said otherwise so I believe that means all is good on Vita.

On the NA release date – looks like we may be end of April; I’ll Tweet as soon as we have a final date.

The last couple Minis haven’t been Vita compatible. Or more likely they are, but you need a PS3 to copy it over…

this is why you always keep one of the older systems for that.
