We’ve already covered Fighting Fantasy: Talisman of Death before, here and here. Laughing Jackal have now also published a new blog post about this game and, more importantly, sent us a lot of screenies! Enjoy!

Note: There’s no hint of a release date yet.

The Kindle has a couple of these things now, and one of the things about them being electronic is that you can’t cheat.

These things are hard when you can’t cheat.

Looks great – can’t wait to see how the book-based gameplay has transferred to the PSP.

… looks a lot more interesting than I thought it would. Suggestion though: there is a lot of screen clutter, are you going to make the control hints auto-hide, or an option to hide the HUD?

It looks great. Hope the gameplay’s good.

    Hi all,

Glad to hear you like what you see@

@JeremyR – another unique thing about Talisman of Death is that – often – death is not the end and you can get right back into the action without having to re-roll a character and sometimes even keeping some quest items you’ve gathered.

@confuletlyf – if you press the [SELECT] button you can hide the control legend (except in combat, where things are less cluttered anyway).

    Cheers guys!
