PSP Minis Launch Titles

PSP Minis So far 13 PSP Mini titles have October 1st release dates. If there is 15 launch titles then we are only missing 2 off our list.

Here are the games you can be playing come launch day.

  • Fortix - Nemesys
  • Hero of Sparta - Gameloft
  • AstroTripper - PomPom Games
  • Fieldrunners - Subatomic Studios
  • Funky Punch - Solus Games
  • Kahoots - Honeyslug
  • Pinball Dreaming: Pinball Fantasies - Cowboy Rodeo
  • Minigore - Mountain Sheep
  • FMX - Xendex
  • Vempire - Impressionware
  • Arcade Air Hockey & Bowling - Icon Games
  • Tetris - EA
  • BreakQuest – Beatshapers

I’m pretty excited as it seems like a good mix of titles. Everything from hack n slash and puzzle to side scrolling shooters and tower defense. With that kind of mix there is bound to be something to suit everyone’s tastes.

I’m curious to know what titles people are definitely picking up on the first day. Let me know in the comments below.

I will need to see demos or screenshots before purchasing any of them to my PSP3000 unless they’re 99 cents a pop.

@ hoolio: Pacman CE’s realease date is still TBA as far as I can see. Neo Thexder is being released on October 1st but it’s not a minis game. That’s why it’s not on the list.

@ minisfan: Thanks for the heads up on BreakQuest. Added to the list. Awesome game by the way. I’ve almost finished the PC version. Well worth the purchase.

  1. [...] Sony have also confirmed that the three big hitters, Gran Turismo, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny and God of War: Chains of Olympus will be available for download from day one too, along with the titles we’ve already suggested like PixelJunk Monsters, MotorStorm and Bomberman Portable.  Of particular interest to myself are the PSP Minis, 12 of which have been confirmed for a release alongside the launch of the PSPgo, including the fantastic Fieldrunners and EA’s all conquering Tetris.  Here’s the full list: [source] [...]
