Top 5 PSP Minis Launch Titles

With the first batch of minis out you’re probably wondering which games are worthy of your hard earned moolah. Wonder no more. Here is our official top 5 PSP minis launch titles. If you don’t have these titles already we highly recommend you pick them up and give them a whirl. You won’t be disappointed.

5. Fortix
Nemesys put a unique twist on the old classic Qix. They did so with 12 levels that will give you quite a challenge even on Easy. You probably didn’t think dodging dragons and cannonballs would be this tough. Good luck trying to clear Fortix in one sitting.

4. Pinball Fantasies
Everyone who grew up playing the Amiga will probably remember Pinball Fantasies. In late 1992 the game first hit the scene and is now making its return as a PSP Minis title. Four tables are included in the package and they will most likely keep you busy until Pinball Dreams hits later this year.

3. Sudoku
This one is bound to keep you coming back for more, even if you aren’t into Sudoku or maybe just never played it before. Life time statistics for each difficulty will have you comparing your skills with friends and family. Newspaper mode is a great addition considering you could easily just hop online and pick any puzzle from the internet. If you want to be more creative, just create your own puzzles. EA really nailed it with this game and is a no brainer for all Sudoku fans.

2. Vempire
Bejeweled has had its share of clones, but none really jump out at you like Vempire. Forty different levels with tons of artifacts and items to unlock and buy will have you playing for hours on end. This game isn’t out yet in the US Store, but I urge you to hurry up and download it once it hits the store on October 22nd.

1. Fieldrunners
‘If you are a tower defense veteran you will enjoy Fieldrunners. If you are new to tower defense then you couldn’t start off on a better title then Fieldrunners. The only downside is a lot of other tower defense games will seem a little lackluster in comparison. The amount of polish on Fieldrunners makes it shine in every aspect. You might just have to wear sunglasses to play it.’ I couldn’t have said it better myself. Buy this game.

I’ve got Fieldrunners and have to say, that stuff is addictive! :D

A suggestion, it’d be nice if you can do a monthly Top 5? Well hopefully there’ll be enough new Minis released for that (:
