Worldwide PlayStation Store Update – 13th July 2010
3 new minis in world this week
Archibald’s Adventures delivers a mix of action and puzzle gaming. While the game has an astounding 191 levels, thing rarely get stale as the characters you control upgrade there abilities from one set of levels to the next. This keeps things fresh and the puzzles varied. Having played halfway through the iPhone version I can give this game a thumbs up and an instant day one purchase recommendation if you like puzzle games.
Star Hammer Tactics is a mini I’ve been anticipating since it was announced in our forums. Mainly because it’s the first mini that offering a sci-fi tactical battle game. Can’t wait.
Piyotama looks like a hybrid of match 3, tetris and a puzzler with eggs. It also, supposedly, requires fast reaction from the player. Sounds interesting. Lets see if the mixed game mechanics make or break the game.

I just got Star Hammer Tactics and Archibald’s Adventures.
Star Hammer Tactics plays a bit like R-Type Command… no bad thing.
I have to say I’m realy lovin’ Archibald’s Adventures.

Thought you NAns would like to know
Piyotama is actually also on the psn for the ps3, so why it would be a mini is strange.
a quick google search shows that the ps3 exclusive version was received with mostly positive reviews, gamespot and IGN both gave it a 7.5
@thumbbandit Star Hammer Tactics is nice, gameplay-wise. I’ll post my review soon.
