PlayStation Store Update – 4th February 2010

1 new mini this week.
This week brings us the second mini from developer Virtual Toys, Spaceball: Revolution.
I personally enjoy when titles come from out of no where. As far as I know this title got it’s first mention on the Europe Playstation blog the day of the update. But it does make me wonder what’s going on at the game developers PR department. I’m pretty sure it’s almost a proven fact games sell better when they are put into the publics mind long before the release day. Oh well, who doesn’t like surprises.
Stay tuned for a review of Spaceball: Revolution soon.
Here’s the release list:
*Red = New worldwide
US Minis
- Nothing…
European Minis
- * Spaceball: Revolution (£3.99/€4.99)
Oceania Minis
- * Spaceball: Revolution ($8.45)

It’s not just minis though. Full titles do this.
Puzzle Chronicles just came out in NA from Konami. There’s some press from this summer, but no real previews or anything. Metacritic doesn’t even have a page for it.
Is Spaceball: Revolution good game? Worth buying?
It’s a port from the Wii, you might look up reviews from that version. Got a 67 on metacritic, most reviews say it’s fun, but gets old real quick.
But on PSP are different controls…
When I seen the blog post for Spaceball: Revolution on the EU PlayStation yesterday I went and youtubed the game because the description and screenshots didn’t seem to explain the game very well.
You would never guess what I found, from the VirtualToysSpain (the games developers) youtube account this video had been uploaded a week ago! Why on earth it was not included in the blog post i do not know…
