Block Cascade Fusion – Upcoming Mini

Those who just can’t get enough of  Tetris-style falling blocks games will be very excited to see the new trailer for Gamelion Studios’ upcoming mini, Block Cascade Fusion! This is what Gamelion has to say about the game:

Block Cascade is a very addictive puzzle game which lets you enter compelling worlds full of different falling blocks. The goal is to create a line of at least five similarly coloured blocks by rotating and arranging the falling squares properly. Once the timer stops, the fusion will start and erase linked blocks. The basic concept is simple, but there’s a fair amount of depth to the game, especially if you’re aiming for a high score. Points are awarded according to the size and number of blocks that are cleared from the screen during the fusion. Great visuals glow and respond to your actions! Perform combos to score high enough, and you’re in for a treat!

According to Gamelion there’s also a variety of trophies to be earned in five different categories for “exceptional performance”. They also promise different brick sets and backgrounds to keep players interested, as well as multiple music tracks including rave, dance, trance and electro.

No word on the official release date as yet, but Gamelion says the game is currently in its final Q&A stage, so we could be talking just a couple of weeks. Or longer. You know how these things are!

Looks like combination of Lumines and Tetris… But too small gameplay area in compare to size of PSP display, why it is not fullscreen?

    back on topic,
i didnt watch the video, but it looks like a very cool game.

I’m sure just the EU. Maybe we’ll get it a couple months later in NA.

For some reason, almost no NA companies are making minis. Not quite as bad as Japan, where none are. But I think the only NA made mini is Battle Poker.

We are targeting US as well, but things are not going that fast with SCEA.

  6. Sebastian says:
