Big thanks to game designer and creative director Luc Bernard for contacting us with the latest info and release dates for three much-anticipated minis from his Oyaji Games studio. First up we have SteamPirates (published by Fried Green Apps), which Luc tells us will be finished in January, with a release date some time in Q1. Soundtrack composer Sean Beeson has just published the soundtrack for free on his blog, and it can be downloaded here. This is what Luc had to say about SteamPirates:

SteamPirates is not just an RPG, it also has a lot of different gameplay types such as platforming, puzzling, ship battles, etc…

Luc has also confirmed to us that both iPhone turn-based strategy game Mecho Wars and the sequel Mecho Tales, which as you can see from the screenshots is a platformer, will be coming to minis in Q1. The minis version of Mecho Wars will feature brand new remixes and an extended soundtrack.

Couldn’t be more excited about these three, I just love the art style of SteamPirates in particular, and it will be nice to see at least one RPG-ish mini as there’s a dearth of them on the platform so far.
